PINWHEEL TUTORING
Pinwheel Tutoring is a cooperation between Red Oak Church and Andrews Elementary School. Church members sign up to serve the students twice a week. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the school year, parent-approved students walk to the Pinwheel Building to play, enjoy a snack, study, work on homework, and ultimately hear the Gospel.
Mentorships often have the largest and longest-lasting impact on a person's life. We seek to reflect Christ and lead exemplary lives for these students, showing them unconditional love, and investing time and energy to see their education improve. There are currently 35 students and counting that are waiting for a spot to open in the Pinwheel Tutoring program. We need more tutors, financial support, prayer support, and families to “adopt” students in the program. Please join us in serving at Pinwheel Tutoring!
